A rather non-publicized/known flick out there. Rented it out this weekend and just finished watching it. Despite the unknown batch of actors and the "expected" storyline spilling over from part 1, I was really impressed with the way they acted and how the plot of the movie was thought of. More intriguing was how the movie ends leaving a clean gateway for part 3.

Watching this movie makes you feel that no matter what, life plays out exactly how its supposed to. The "butterfly" effect was really well played out in this part. From what I remember from part 1, I think I liked part 2 just as much, if not better.

By the sounds of it then, this is a good film. Suprised that it slipped under the radar as this is the first I have heard of it.

Must admit that I was buzzing coming out of the cinema after watching the first one. Was brilliant I think :)

i liked the first one. far more dark than i anticipated. the kutch is actually a pretty bad ass actor. i just hate him off screen!

1st one I thought was excellent. In fact I think it's Ashton's best piece to date. Very dark, very emotional and he played the parts very well. Might have to check out the second one.

Re: Butterfly Effect 2

the first part is one of the best movies i have ever seen...and the second one is so ugly. it was the continuation of a great plot with a bad realization
