Re: Gone Baby Gone

I was actually pretty impressed having heard, after seeing it, that Ben Affleck directed it. Not bad work.

Re: Gone Baby Gone

This is the second time I have seen Casey Affleck (assassination of Jesse James). Both times he has been down right terrific.

Good story, with a slightly predictable ending. Ed Harris is quite good as well.

What I enjoyed most was that the film poses an interesting question (which I can't say what it is without spoiling the ending) and does a good job of not dictating what the correct choice is, rather leaving it open to the viewer to determine what the right decision was.

Re: Gone Baby Gone

love this movie through and through. Not a fan of the afflecks, but Ben's little bro does a good job as a Bostonian. If you liked Mystic River, you'll really like this one.
