Re: 21 (2008)

Thought the movie was so-so. Poor kid can't get into school, learns to count cards, wins money for school, gets out of hand, becomes a different person, fucks up, gets into trouble, redeems himself. Very cliche / predictable, didn't feel gritty enough nor 'real.' Almost Disney-esque. Spacey's character swings between a cordial professor and a hard criminal, but he doesn't get enough screen time to really show the character which might've been more interesting than the school kids. And I still don't understand how they counted the cards :NotMe:
