Just caught it Sunday at the Indie film cinema here in Indy. Great film. Very dark and brooding. It kinda grabs you and doesn't let go until it's reached it's climax, then you really reach a new place.

Highly recommended.

you don't...almost everyone in EDM knows Blue Monday or Bizarre Love Triangle. Get to your local library bro and check out a cd from them.

Technically this is really more Joy Division than New Order ... I couldn't finish the film, thought it was too slow, but I do think this is a film you have to be in the right frame of mind to appreciate, not when you're feeling dead tired after work :lol:

I have heard Blue Monday just dont know all of the drama that when on behind the scenes of the bands when they were together etc

It's not much drama except they were a promising band (only 4 albums) that got signed on to Factory Records whose owner also started Hacienda which became the hotbed for dance music, coupled with the tragedy of a talent who died too young from suicide, plus he was depressed, epileptic, etc.

yeah the film is about Joy Division, not New Order. It does move slowly, but if you know Corbijn's work you know he takes his time. The cinematography on this film alone should win an award.

i would have thought if you just typed in control it would have come up. I can't wait till this comes out on DVD and to see all the hopefully great extras for the home viewer.
