This is probably going to be the best movie I will have seen in the last 12 months when it comes out next month. I cannot wait for this one. Daniel Day Lewis is going to be a total badass again like always. Plus with PT Anderson writing/directing this is going to be one hell of a film.

Already reviews stating that this is amazing, plus the cinematography is going to be great. I cant wait for the ~3 hours of this one the big screen.

he got best actor on the 13th critics awards ... should be a good movie .. he never disappoints

Already nominated for 8 Oscars IIRC, including a Best Actor and Best Picture.

i heard the first half was phenominal second have was just ok. I guess there supposed to be some long drawn out talking scene towards the end that kills it. i may see it though if i get a feel like its worth it.

i heard that same thing from a good friend last night about it...the first half has a nice slow pace where you really get into the characters...but the last half seemed liked they tried to rush a three hour film into 2 hours.

I'll definitely be into seeing it.

Saw the movie this weekend, the acting was great. Lewis was phenomenal, but as far as the movie i liked it but felt that it was too long. Some things werent really necessary to make this movie long. all in all it was a good movie though.

[spoiler]Loved this movie. But, there has got to be some purpose to the last 1/4 part of the film that we are not aware of. For me, it could have ended somewhere soon after he killed his imposter brother and it would have been excellent none-the-less. [/spoiler]

Daniel Day Lewis is absolutely mesmerizing, Paul Dano made me squirm as the wretched young priest. oh my god, i have chills just thinking about both of these performances. they stay with you. a lot of the film reminded me of Terrence malick, though it did'nt emulate him. just a nice reminder. i think i'll watch days of heaven now. i wish there were more films like this coming out of the states, let's keep our fingers crossed
