Re: The Darjeeling Limited
Is this the sequel about that fat girl and her traveling pants?
Re: The Darjeeling Limited
I'd like to see this for sure.. previews look pretty hilarious.
Re: The Darjeeling Limited
I saw this... Its pretty good I thought although it could have been maybe slightly better but I always feel that way about films that try to deal with serious topics and stay childishly comical at the same time. Nevertheless its certainly worth watching.
Re: The Darjeeling Limited
This is the kind of comedy that either you "get" or bores the heck of out you. The movie left me hanging.... wanting for a lot more humor but felt dry as the flick ended.
I'd give this a 5/10
Re: The Darjeeling Limited
Liked the way it was shot, great colors. Enjoyed the bits on the train, but the movie got derailed for me when they got kicked off the train. The incident saving the boy at the river didn't feel like it had anything to do with the film and just something thrown in there. And the final meetup with the mother was anti-climatic. They shoul've just stayed on the train.
Re: The Darjeeling Limited
^^ agreed 100%
The part on the train was the best part of the flick, everything else was so random that even trying to make sense of them in a sequence of events (ever for 3 random white boys out in the middle of no where) seemed too movie-ish.
Re: The Darjeeling Limited
so i take it that this movie is not about tea?
Re: The Darjeeling Limited
No, all about tea bagging.
Re: The Darjeeling Limited
on a train.....
Re: The Darjeeling Limited
this movie is pointless :(
Re: The Darjeeling Limited
i dont like wes anderson flicks, i dont think they're funny like kamal said above. i guess i just dont 'get' them.
Re: The Darjeeling Limited
They're definitely on the quirky side. They're not har har funny and not witty either, just show messed up people in awkward situations that make you go eh?
Re: The Darjeeling Limited
yea, I find it odd to look for humor in the quirky side of people.... especially when they're being serious
