The battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons, and has decided to return to Earth with force. The Autobots believing that peace was possible finds out that Megatron's dead body has been stolen from the US Military by Skorpinox and revives him using his own spark. Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own, may have more to deal with then meets the eye.

It's a decent sequel I guess - lots of eye candy, but Jesus Christ this goes on for nearly two and a half hours. Much like the first, it's really difficult to get an idea of what the hell is going on when a fight happens because it's overly edited (other than the forest fight, which is actually really, really good), and the characters are more props than actual characters. The movie nearly stops dead about midway through and has a tough time restarting. It really reminded me of Bad Boys 2 with how overly long and dramatic it was, and Michael Bay manages to rip himself off a couple of times with a few shots in the film.

Fine summer fair, not sure if I need to see this again on IMAX or not. But it delivered on what it was promising.

Oh yeah, Rainn Wilson from The Office has a cameo, and John Turturro has gone from films like Barton Fink to this.

16 bucks for IMAX was well worth it.

OMFG.... HUGE... just MASSIVE... i came several buckets. to be honest, i really wasn't captivated by megan fox, cos the effects and action sequences were fucking bad ass. not really a dull moment in this movie; it turned out a lot better than i thought it would. i did take off my critical hat before i went in to see it though ... ;)

of special note: some of the sound effects reminded me of some key EDM elements, ie, when the fallen did his epic move on top of the great pyramid... that was trippy. i'd go on, but i dont wanna spoil anything.

I hated it , we are going through minute 10 and I realized shit this is kiddy stuff . I couldn t stand all the little robots it made me feel like i was watching "wall-e" . I was expecting more of it , considering that the first one was a good try but this sucked olimpically.

Very simple story too , this has never happened to me , but when I was watching it I would go off to think of something else for 5 minutes and then ... "Uh where was I ?, ok I didn't miss a thing." lol

I give it 2 stars out of 5 , just because Megan Fox

I think it woulld be cool on the next one to have "galvatron" around
