Did anyone see this amazing psychological thriller? For me it put Kevin Costner back on my map after Water World:lol:

Pretty intriguing to see Dane Cook play a gasp serious role, too. He did it well.

Re: Mr. Brooks (Kevin Costner, Dane Cook)

Saw it a couple days ago.

It was actually pretty good. It must be one of the coolest serial killers around. It is interesting to see a movie, that the main character is a serial killer and gets away with it.

Also the ending is just freaky and amazing. Honestly I would love to see a movie with that type of ending, filmed like that for a whole movie.

Re: Mr. Brooks (Kevin Costner, Dane Cook)

One of the tightest thrillers I have seen in a long time - Costner is back in a decent role for a change, ending was wicked

Re: Mr. Brooks (Kevin Costner, Dane Cook)

kevin costner on form for a change and in a classy film. would recommend seeing it. isnt the usual run of the mill chuff that hollywood knock out most of the time. at leats some care is given on the script and storyline. :)

Re: Mr. Brooks (Kevin Costner, Dane Cook)

Caught this yesterday, really good acting on costner's part. The wife's role coula been given to someone else, after seeing her as a rock solid detective on CSI, it was too confusing to see her as a sit-at-home mom.

Mr. Smith / Beauford (or Bafford, dont remember now) played his role out INCREDIBLY well. I really liked how he played out a jackass in the flick.

Give it a 7.5/10

Re: Mr. Brooks (Kevin Costner, Dane Cook)

wow great movie. dane cook was actually likable in this and i thought he played his part perfect. as did mr costner. imo, this is by far costners best movie. great storyline and character development. marshall's character couldn't have been done nearly as brilliantly by anyone else other than william hurt, he pulled off that character in top form.

even though i thought they ruined the ending it was nice to see it was only a dream.

will defo watch this again and again.
