The Simpsons
Re: The Simpsons
Yeah, it's surprisingly good. I just love all the political/social and movie references that are tossed all over the movie. Sure as hell gonna buy this on DVD because I think I still missed half of the hidden jokes.
"Look Marge, he can do an impression of you..." "SQUEEEEEEEEL... MRRRRRRRRRRR"
Re: The Simpsons

Re: The Simpsons
Not that it's any of your business, but I'm "the man", I've got people working for me.

Re: The Simpsons
"Simpson, eh
Release the hounds"
Classic line from Mr Burns
Re: The Simpsons
saw this last night ... really good movie .. definately has a spot on the dvd collection
Re: The Simpsons
as usual for the simpsons family this movie is a absolutely killer, fucking hilarious as always, so good.
Re: The Simpsons
Its great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The first hour is killer, it does have a small lull for about 10 minutes when they do the usual emotional peice between Marge and Homer, but it picks right up again and the end is good. A very good refernce to one of the all time great episodes.
It has loads of characters in it from the series- and as already said lots of political/movie refernces and some swipes at FOX. THe hardcore nudity scene is sidesplitting!
9/10 donuts. Definelty worth seeing on the big screen - the audience I was with was howling throughout.
Re: The Simpsons
saw this on friday morning. i too laughed the majority of the time. i loved how they throw in the not so obvious jokes or how they handle pop culture stuff.
Re: The Simpsons
funny from beginning to end
Re: The Simpsons
The movie was incredible great and hilarious. One and a half hour of Simpsons at a 100%.
Re: The Simpsons
I guess I'm the only one who thought it could have been better. I mean it did have some classic lines but i just felt disappointed after. I think i just built it up in my head to much.
Re: The Simpsons
Saw this last night and thought it was really good - I was expecting the worst to be honest but there were some great lines in it.
When the EPA guy is getting President Schwarzenegger to pick what path to choose to deal woth Springfield 'You don't even have to read any of them' ha ha ha I wonder how true that is?

+1
Re: The Simpsons
+2 to that.
Don't know if it's because I'm used to the Simpsons' humor or they're finally becoming outmodded but the movie felt like it was missing a punch or something. I might even go as far to say it's not worth the cinematic experience.
Re: The Simpsons
^^^ would agree with the cinema comment there but well worth a watch although it wasnt as good as i expected. Personally i think the simpsons has had its day, make way for more family guy!!
