I just saw this movie and all I have to say is wow. This is a french movie shot in B&W and the plot will keep you interested and hooked until the end. If you like Memento, Nine Queens, or Amores Perros, you will love this one. If you rent is make sure you watch the short 9 minute movie in the special features (it's the funniest thing I have seen in a while) - in a black sense of humor kind of way.... Enjoy

Simply an amazing debut from a couple of years ago.

Must say it's more in common with [I]La Haine[/I] than any of those mentioned.

I was a huge fan of this. Starts slowly and builds really nicely the suspense. The director of this is doing a remake of it with Jason Statham and Ray Winstone that should be out next year. Don't wait to see the remake, the original is just so well done and the low fi production values actually help the film's suspenseful vibe.

definitely going to watch the original before i (if ever) watch the remake. glad to hear all the good chatter about it. i really need to try and find this.
