didn't even see the second one, was it worth a watch?
Extremely entertaining I says! The only shitty thing is that it ends quite abruptly (anticipating part III)

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's end

I liked the first one but the second one bored me to tears. It had lost the comedy and was overly long.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's end

The first one rocks, the second was pretty entertaining, I have a feeling this one is going to be pretty interesting but quite long.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's end

Both of these movies bored me to tears, I think I'll skip on the third.

I seriously can't wait. I don't what it is, God knows I am not the pickiest when it comes to movies, but these POTC really entertain me.

It comes out in May, right?

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's end

wow didn't anticipate anyone NOT liking the Pirate series. The eye-candy and sheer entertainment value of both parts was incredible.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's end

oh no no, I actually really liked both of them. Love the scenery as well! Love the whole tropical thing, looks fun. I just want Depp to make a serious dark fucked up stoner type movie. Kinda like that fear n' loathing thing.

^^^ or Edward Scissorhands eh? :p :D

I think this is Depp's best role in years (Jack Swallow that is)

i want to see Sweeney Todd. that should be great. Depp + Burton is usually gold.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's end

Depp is just one of those guys who can't play a bad role.

God I love Johnny Depp, he almost makes me want to be straight.

Colleagues who caught a private screening today didn't think much of it :( I'm still catching it on the biggest screen anyway.

I am finally going to see this tonight. Now with the s/o away for the summer, I can actually afford to do things I like!

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's end

I've seen all three Pirates movies now. The first one was good, second one was decent, & the third wasn't so good. I feel with the last two movies that they tried to do too much with the story. They should have made it easier and more fun.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's end

the third one was just a piece of shit.

Me too...

I usually like most if not all Johnny Deep stuff... maybe not Secret Window.. all else he's got amazing talent.

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's end

Thought this movie was Ok, although i did walk into late into the wrong theatre that was playing the end of this movie. Saw the end credits roll up (oh no!!)

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean: At world's end

I thought this was good...definitely more character building, but not as exciting as the other 2...I think the 4th will be good though....you had to expect there was going to be one movie in the series that lacked excitement so they could show more about the characters themselves

As for the comments about Johnny playing these roles, I think he is awesome....he wants to play more roles his kids can see him in...and I think that is admirable...I am sure he will go back to more "adult" roles soon enough....although with is daughter so sick, I wouldn't be surprised if he took a break....he is a very devoted father..... <3 him!
