Netflix > Blockbuster

Basically just what it sounds like...a friends list, sort of community type thing. Your friends can recommend movies to you, you can see what they have rated, etc. We have seen several great movies that way that i would have never checked out. "Hey, if you liked American Psycho, check THIS out..." etc.

Also, once you start rating movies, you can see who else in your friends list has similar ratings as you do, and based on your similar tastes, you can find some cool movies to watch from someone like minded.

Pretty cool feature.

Blockbuster > Netflix

you can return blockbuster movies directly in a store (5 minute walk from me) for replacements, and while you have those in-store replacements your next movies are sent to your mail. You get double the movies that you would with Netflix

much more selection, I get the next one in two days, pay $19 for 3 movies and their recommendation mechanism works really well

the reason we joined netflix is to avoid annoying video stores.

when I say 3 movies, it's three movies at home any given time anyways, I guess for you it kind of makes sense because you like to walk to the store.

netflix really has a huge selection of foreign movies that BB doesn't have, that's a big plus for me

I'm with Pickle on this one. Much more convenient for me to drive right down the street to blockbuster to trade in the movie.

They even tade the ones they sent to you at each of the stores too.

For the ones they don't carry at the store, you just order online.

We had netflix and stopped it because Blockbuster came out with this.
