^ | it wasn't anything great. scorsese may be a great film maker, but public speaking isn't his strong suit. he seemed happier for the other people who won for departed, too, which is classy on his part.

forest whitaker's speach, however, was incredible. he had the whole audience glued to him.

ohhh and boo-urns for pan's labyrinth not winning foreign language...

good winners this year, good choices all around for the most part. forest whitakers speech was awesome, good he got some recognition. one of the best acceptance speeches i have seen at the oscars in a while.
