Re: 24 Season 6

i was suprised with how nicely they wrapped up the current story arc... now the plot twist leads it in a completely new direction - interesting.

Re: 24 Season 6

This season is good and reminds me of how 24 gives you much more than most shows. Most TV shows would be content with Bauer stopping the terrorists with nuclear weapons. 24 though has many stories within a season and takes new directions.

I have been speculating at what President Palmer gave up to get Bauer out of Chinese custody. I suspect we'll find out. With several more episodes to go and the way the last episode ended, we have some good episodes coming.

Re: 24 Season 6

Damn - only 3 more episodes... Wonder where this is heading. It seems like a lot to tie up before the end of the season - unless they do another :)

Re: 24 Season 6

^I think Kiefer Sutherland signed on to do 2 more season after this one, which I think is not that great of an idea...as much as I love 24 I think the series has run its course in terms of storylines...2 seasons with nuclear bombs, and they even involved the president as part of a conspiracy in one of the recent seasons, I just don't think it can get any more creative/extreme.

#857355Post 94 of 112

Re: 24 Season 6

i hope next season goes for something totally new, no terrorists, just something else totally nuts.

if nip/tuck can get signed on for 3 more seasons, 24 has life in it yet, as disappointing as this season has been

Re: 24 Season 6

I'll agree with that... I heard on the tv somewhere that this season has fatigued the cast as well as the fans... But that they hope to kick it back in gear next season.

Re: 24 Season 6

the producers have admitted that this season has been weak and they have already said it will be better next season.

hopefully nadia will take her shirt off next season

#861257Post 99 of 112

Re: 24 Season 6

yes. 24 hours of shirtless Nadia would not be a bad thing.

Re: 24 Season 6

actually heres an idea, since miles dumped choles ass, maybe she should jump on nadia instead as a rebound? please discuss.

Re: 24 Season 6

Well, this series has had plenty of cool twists and turns in it's 6 seasons, that would definitely be a great addition to the story... That is about all that is left that hasn't been brought into the story line so far.

Or, they can have Nadia & Chloe with Jack's sister-in-law - all comforting each other ;)

Re: 24 Season 6

exxxxcellent, i forgot about jacks sister in law, she is a for sure milf. she has some sexy blue/green eyes. plus she is tasty.

Re: 24 Season 6

jack's sister in law is hot, as is nadia. chloe, not so much. but that chick the VP was seeing ain't bad either.

season finale tonight, 2 more hours to wrap it all up. please do a good job 24 writers. pleeeeeease.

Re: 24 Season 6

well that was underwhelming and anti-climatic. worst season thus far imo. by far.

#865330Post 107 of 112

Re: 24 Season 6

well i think they settled the dust and had closure with this episode/season on a shitload of storylines and characters, which should leave room for a whole new cast. They have created a great opportunity to do a drastically different storyline next season. the only hanging thread i saw is chang saying "my country will not abandon me like your country did to jack bauer"... other than that, i see hope for a completely new series next year. i wonder what's going to happen to wayne palmer...

PS - this was definitely the worst season by far... hoping an improvement is around the corner.

#865369Post 108 of 112

Re: 24 Season 6

not as good as the others, but not terrible either. i did like the last scene where jack was getting po'd at audrey's pops though

Re: 24 Season 6

Definitely just a wrap up of the season. Best part was when Jack lost it on Sec. Heller. But Heller still got to him in the end. Figured they would of had Jack have to shoot his dad or something- that ended pretty anti-climaticly considering the tendency of the show writers to put Jack through hell and back.

I can see what the writers were attempting to achieve this season but I think it was too much emotion and not enough action for the fans. I think not seeing Jack involved pretty much the whole season really made it drag on. I would say out of all this is the lowest on my list of top seasons but it wasn't terrible - better than most other shows out there.

#869828Post 111 of 112

Re: 24 Season 6

Agree that this was may have been the worst season, but still a good show. The ratings were down this season compared to last season and the producers said they plan a drastic change in the story next season. Heroes may have had something to do with the ratings drop too.

It started off strong with the first four episodes, but couldn't keep that pace. I got tired of seeing Jack getting arrested. How many times was he in and out of custody? It seemed like the whole season and I think it was.

I know Season 5 was the most popular for ratings, but to me Seasons 4, 2, & 1 were my favorites in that order.

Re: 24 Season 6

^^wasnt season 4 with habib marwan as the bad guy? the guy from the mummy movies? i thought he was a great baddie, and his season was my favourite.
