Re: Rome (season 2)
i am....pretty cool serie...
Re: Rome (season 2)
yep, definitely gonna be grabbing the torrents for the new episodes...
Re: Rome (season 2)
I am - liked the first season. Interested to see the direction they take after last season.
Re: Rome (season 2)
Still haven't seen season 1.
Re: Rome (season 2)
ep 1 was good. i'd nearly forgotten everything but ceasars death in the last season. should be a good show this season though.
Re: Rome (season 2)
ya episode 1 was definitely intense!
Re: Rome (season 2)
This is on HBO, right?
Re: Rome (season 2)
yes
Re: Rome (season 2)
Right. Then I'll have to wait for the dvd.
Re: Rome (season 2)
God, i totally missed the first episode. Im looking forward to it, kinda. Season one started off really great, but I started lossing interest with the last four episodes or so. TG for on demand.

Re: Rome (season 2)
This weeks episode was bad ass. Im liking this season more than last. Was really suprised to see that Ocatavian sent Pullo to kill Siccirro. I guess I knew it was coming. He had to go. I was also really suprised to see Octavian join with Marc Anthony, to only march on Greece and Kill Brutus. Huge episode. Glad to see Verinus is no longer part of the dark side.
Re: Rome (season 2)
ya i was gonna post about this last one, too. incredible episode!
they're killing off half the cast! older octavian needs to show some emotion occasionally, dood is like a maniquin with his expression.
always liked brutus' character, sad to see him off the show. siccirro's death scene was pretty damned graphic, definitely not a pleasant way to go.
no clue whats coming next...
Re: Rome (season 2)
great episode. and great to finally see a battle scene (even if it looked cheesy)
Re: Rome (season 2)
not quite following history though....Brutus and Cassius committed suicide but in tv show they were shown as fighters...
Re: Rome (season 2)
guess they took a week off. hbo.com says they are repeating the first 6 episodes throughout this week.
:FuckOff:
Re: Rome (season 2)
Lots of sex last night, seemed like everyone was fucking in Rome. I thought the developments were good. Interesting approach to split Rome into 3 commands, however, the preview for next week made it look as though all shit breaks loose and all bonds are severed. Its going to get nasty.
Re: Rome (season 2)
is this the last season of this show, cause seriously...its like survivor, except instead of voting people off the show, they're killing them off, one a week!
Re: Rome (season 2)
ok, what the hell is going on with this series?? they keep skipping ahead like 2-3 years at time, every damn episode. pretty soon its gonna be rome: the retiree years.
gotta say though, extremely intense ending with pullo this last episode. glad that bitch got what was coming to her.
Re: Rome (season 2)
Season Finale tonight! Can't wait.... I spent all of yesterday catching up on the episodes I'd missed. Gotta love HBO for all those extended re-runs :D

haha was thinkin the same thing... I hope its not the last season though.
Re: Rome (season 2)
SPOLER ALERT
Wow, last episode. Not sure if there is going to be another season, though it seemed that way with the last scene.
Not sure if I'll be watching next season either...they killed off my favorite charater! i would have figured they'd give Vareinus (sp?) a bigger send off than what happened. was pretty disappointed with that. The count of major characters they killed off this season is huge. maybe they're trying to emphasize the short life expectancy of the avg roman?
I gotta say season 1>>season 2. Did they switch directors or something??
Re: Rome (season 2)
hbo.com starts off the description of the last episode as the 'series finale' i was starting to doze off around vorenus' (sp?) final words, i didnt actually see him die. but i was hazy eyed and nearly asleep so i dunno. :what hope they return for another season i was really getting in to the last 4 or 5 episodes.
