heh
Re: David Lynch's Inland Empire (2006)
saw this on saturday finally. it makes the plot of mulholland drive seem fairly straightforward. apparantly the actors still dont know what its about... and i felt the same way. that being said i found it entertaining and compelling watching. highly recommended for fans of the weird/lynch. probably not so much for somebody that doesnt want to basically be confused for 3 hours.
Re: David Lynch's Inland Empire (2006)
classic....the actors didn't even know what it was about.
Re: David Lynch's Inland Empire (2006)
you'd think that strange for anything other than a david lynch movie... but as a review i read this morning, this makes the plot of mulholland drive seem as coherant as an episode of sesame street!

been out in limited release since december i think. i saw it at the only theater in portland that was playing it, a renovated oldschool cinema that plays obscure films that would get nowhere near your local stadium theater. dvd is out June 8th in the US

I forgot all about the newest movie until this thread was rehashed. Gonna see if my roomie can track it down. Thanks for the reminder.
Re: David Lynch's Inland Empire (2006)
This was the first David Lynch movie I've ever seen. It was pretty insane, although I can't say that I loved it, it was good enough to keep me interested. Tripped out movie.
Re: David Lynch's Inland Empire (2006)
^^^Check out Lost Highways, that will throw you for a loop. Eraserhead is whacked too.
Re: David Lynch's Inland Empire (2006)
just watched this thing. spooked the shit out of me... wish I knew what it was about!
trying to find an explanation for the story I read a review that said the "movie" is the real story of the movie, and the real life portion is a fictional story dreamt up by the movie character. seems to make the most sense?
Re: David Lynch's Inland Empire (2006)
Insane movie....one of the best I've seen....haunts you for days afterwards, and at the end of it you're the one who feels like you're in the dream
Re: David Lynch's Inland Empire (2006)
