inspired by the titties thread (lol) i wondered how many fans of that truly AWESOME show may be here. i love it for its outstanding actors and the overall balance of funny stuff and sad moments, and J.D. narrating about life in general. great show where you can laugh your ass off and in the next moment sit there and start crying because it's so intense!

Re: Scrubs

love this show!!!!!!!

but can anyone explain the starting intro on some episodes is slightly longer and different???? (I think it season 3 or 4 it first appears!)

#741639Post 15 of 56

Re: Scrubs

At the beginning of season 2 they had a longer title sequence with all the actor names, but Braff isn't a fan of title sequences and the fans didn't like it so the went back to the short titles halfway through the season.

Really enjoying series 5 but it is easy to just veg and watch a whole season in a day. The best episode in my opinion has to be ep100.
"My Lunch" was one of the most intense episodes ever.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. The first half of season 5 was absoulte gold but then it felt like it got in a rut, perhaps I just wasn't spending enough time with the episodes. "My Lunch" is certainly a good episode, JD and Cox have some great moments and there is lots to think about. But all too much of the episode felt contrived, extraneous or forced leaving just a mediocre episode in my humbe opinion.

#759578Post 24 of 56

Re: Scrubs

My favourite episodes of season 5 were My Lunch, and My Fallen Idol. I thought they were really well done. JD's conversation at the end with Coxx was really good IMO.

I really wasn't a fan of how the season ended with everyone being pregnant, I thought that was lame, but we will see tomorrow how the writers handle it.

#764142Post 31 of 56

Re: Scrubs

you're the first guy i meet to find this show annoying. i never thought of it to be a copy of the simpsons tbh, and i don't think it tries to be. very nice new episode btw, pretty high laughs per minute rate again :D

Re: Scrubs

Ok after this weeks show I am not liking that she stated she is moving away for a job, because if the series ends this season because JD moves away to be with her, I will be very upset

#773761Post 36 of 56

Re: Scrubs

JD is leaving but the show may not end. I think.

#773770Post 37 of 56

Re: Scrubs

I won't watch it without JD....him & Dr. Coxx are my favourite characters

#773786Post 38 of 56

Re: Scrubs

him and coxy are the two main figures in that show.

I didn't know he was leaving...doubt he should. He'll probably have the same problem as Topher when he left that 70's show...thought he was gonna be doing all kinds of great things, but didn't.

Re: Scrubs

This show rocks, the comedic timing is superb, great balance between hilarity and seriousness.

Favorite guest: Heather Graham (for obvious reasons)
