Re: Heroes on NBC

pissed that its not back till the 23rd. great episode, this show is on a serious roll, hopefully the break doesnt derail it a bit.

Re: Heroes on NBC

^^^^I dont think Suresh is dead, just stuck to the ceiling with some knives, thats all :)

#821690Post 203 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

Agreed. If he was meant to die, they wouldn't have left him alive long enough to inform Peter of Sylar's presence in the apartment. And Suresh has quite a crucial role in the film, he's the only non-Hero (it seems) who can pull any weight.

#821691Post 204 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

i have a feeling that suresh isnt dead either. there is entirely too much on the line regarding what he brings to the plot. the formula that hasnt been broken, the list he has, links to the start of this whole mess and his fathers history and involvement.

i also thikn that parkman will be one to die soon.

Re: Heroes on NBC

isnt issac the one that dies in terms of the heroes?? sylar already has his name which explains the scene where hiro time-traveled and landed at his place seeing him with his head cut open

#821711Post 206 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

Yeah I think Issac is definitely gonna die. There're too many portents already. Didn't he just paint pictures of himself with his head open?

#821713Post 207 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

exactly .. he did

#822092Post 208 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

i thought (assumed) that was suresh he painted, but that makes sense!

#831637Post 209 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

oh, man i was soo souped, i thought that Sylar and Peter were gonna fight at the end of that last episode. thats what i wanna see.

Re: Heroes on NBC

good episode, next weeks should be interesting - 5 years in the future!

seems like sides are going to be divided and people are going to start "meeting their destiny's" pretty soon with 4 eps to go until the end of the season.

Re: Heroes on NBC

^^^^Thanks Ruby, just found out to that Sci Fi channel re-airs the monday broadcast on Fridays at 7 pm EST. They are also having an all day all night marathon on May 19th.

Re: Heroes on NBC

glad to help jarble :)

So has anyone here gotten into the Heroes 360 stuff that nbc has been putting out online together with the show?

Although they've put out a ridiculously overwhelming amount of online material to go with the show (a good deal of it childish), the comics are almost an absolute must as they've been top-notch and give you plenty of background info and some fun spoilers too (this week's is a doozy bout Hiro and the recent 6 part War Buddies story was awesome). As for other stuff, Hiro's blog has been fun at times...there's linderman's art gallery, samantha/wireless's blog, hidden dosier's of heroes at primatechpaper.com, www.activatingevolution.org (suresh's website) and still even more...nbc has truly brought tv and heroes into a new age with all this extra stuff.

Although I'd been quite a late convert to the show (my wife's insistence finally won out), it's totally become an addiction at this point.

#854172Post 227 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

great episode last night, really gearing up for a huge end to the season.

#854248Post 228 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

^ ^ Did they announce a change or something? This show was designed for one season only.

#854272Post 229 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

Someone posted previously, the current storyline is designed for one season, but they might come up with new storylines for new seasons which might have old characters appearing.

#854310Post 230 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

there is no might about it, there will be another season with different heroes and a different story line

#854761Post 231 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC
there is no might about it, there will be another season with different heroes and a different story line
actually this is the most recent thing creator Tim Kring said.

"There are plans to add one new, one big character next season." I?m told that character is female. Tim also told me that those Heroes who remain are likely to stick around, 'cause he's changed his m.o. "I thought Heroes was going to have an ever-shifting cast," he says, "but the cast hit in such big ways that now the challenge is to figure out how to use them all and still fold in a couple of new people, because I still think that the origin stories are the most fascinating, in some ways."

Re: Heroes on NBC

Things are becoming clearer in the future, and there's yet another twist! Ep 20 is setting up for a big showdown! Can't wait!

#854816Post 233 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

wasnt ep20 just aired this week?

#854991Post 234 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

It was, I meant it looks like it's leading up to a big showdown.

#863854Post 235 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

I just can't wait for the final chapter of the season... really is the best show ever... i hope the next season is going to be better than this

#864108Post 236 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

read on yahoo that next season there will be a 24 episode season as well as a spinoff called Heroes: Origins.

anyone know if thats true, or if Origins is the second season?

#864201Post 237 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

havent heard any news on that .. will check on it .. would be interesting if they air 2 shows at the same time with references to each other

#865038Post 238 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

yeah i think i may have misread it... and Heroes: origins IS season 2. either way, season 1 finale tonight, thought it was 2hrs but looks like just one. oh well, should be awesome anyway - cant wait to see how it all ends up!

#865043Post 239 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

Hopefully, this show gets canceled.

#865104Post 240 of 263

Re: Heroes on NBC

Heroes: Origins is supposed to fill in during the times when Heroes isn't running so they don't have 5-6 week gaps in between new episodes like they did a few times this season.
