I think he asked that 'cos it was his wife/gf that died and he wanted some sort of retribution, ie. beating Sawyer to pulp in front of Kate if she loved him.

I thought the couple on the beach was hilarious, that scene when the chick volunteered and the dude goes, wtf, and she mentions how no one ever gets included. Bet the producers have been reading fan forums.

I don't like these new "characters" they are introducing....they bother me and are unnecessary.

I can't believe Echo died.....I really don't like that dark cloud thingy....I have never really uderstood what it is or why they have it. Hopefully they will fill in the gaps

That's the thing ... Echo's death felt so unnecessary after all the hassle of saving him from the polar bear! So he wanders off into the forest, looks for his brother who might be leading him on to something cool, and he gets killed by the smoke, wtf :shock:

But I wouldn't be surprised if Echo comes back in some form or other :what

new characters = more people for them to kill off unncessarily later so the show doesnt dies off with no one left to kill off

eko's death is more like a WTF than anything else

FUCK!!!! what.the.fuck. they killed off ecko, thats sooo fucked up, they got rid of ALL THE BLACK PEOPLE, now whos gonna hold shit down? season 3 is wack as shit, sorry to say, i could care less about anything anymore, all i care about is whats up with that black smoke that can do shit, after i know the deal with that, i won't even pay attention anymore, especially with no black people on the show, abc is racist as fuck.

Yeah I could see that happening, like in someones dreams.

Next weeks is going to be intense and the cliff hanger is going to annoy me to no end most likely. The preview kinda looks like Sawyer and Kate hook up, which is awesome, they just better not kill him after :evil:

the whole episode was dumb..they focus on echo the entire time, then kill him off in the most random, pointless, unexplained way yet...and that's saying something, cause this show seems content not having closure on ANYTHING.

if there isnt some serious issue resolution by the end of this year, i am not gonna watch anymore...

E could of done a number on some of those "others" instead some black smoke which did not kill him last time, kills him this time. wtf. what a filler pos. i am so upset f.

last nights show was full of (pretty religous based) content from ekkos brothers resserection (pulling away the rocks from the plane crash to reveal his brothers body has gone (resserected like in the bible)) to him not making peace with his dead brother by not repenting his sins (killing in a church) and being punished. locke saw a bright white light, ekko saw a dark cloud (i wont read too much into what i think that's supposed to represent for fear of sounding like a wacko who reads too much into this show) to him finding peace at the end by being reunited with his brother (though it showed them when they were younger and innocent ... although if he was that innocent when he was younger, why did he say he killed a man when he was younger?) ben asked jack if he beileved in god, ''a spinal surgeon falls from the sky'' also explained why ekko was building the church - he ''owed his brother a church'' bottom line is, no matter how hard he tried, ekko just couldn't be the person his (younger) brother lived up to be

anyway that's just my two cents and i'm not a religous person but i found this episode fantastic

ohh, the show wasnt subtle with the religious theme. the fact that they covered the plane door with a huge boulder was so cliche it wasnt even funny. if they want to be an intelligent show, or an entertaining one...they gotta start explaining a few things (ie. what IS the dark cloud?) and not just whackin' people off every so often.

piss poor, imho.

great episode yesterday, although a little let down by the cliffhanger, as id read a lot of buzz that it was going to be super-duper-fucking-awesome... and it was "just okay" imo.

of course, "just okay" for lost is still pretty damn good
