Re: "cars"

I agree, it was really well done. Saw it 2 weekends ago. I still liked Over the Hedge better though, but this was good as well :)

Re: "cars"

Cars was alright, but by far the worst Pixar movie to date.

The story just dragged on and on.. it took the hero way to long to learn his lesson. And the absence of any 'bad guy' was too noticeable.

but this movie was meant for kids, and since at some point I did finally hit puberty, what I think about it shouldn't matter too much.

hehe glad she did well :)

Over the Hedge is really cute. I recommend it. The characters are very entertaining....the squirrel is really funny.

The character development was great and the story didn't have any lulls in it. Were you expecting The Incredibles II or something? I can't believe that Dom just saw it recently when it's been out for some weeks. Slacker. Oh yeah, you're a hippy. :p

The animation was incredible!! For some reason I was in awe by the glossy finish on the cars. lol

Re: "cars"

watched this last night and was pretty impressed. the graphics were amazing, and a lot of the landscapes looked like they were actual recorded video. recommended

Re: "cars"

cute movie. not too much into nascar (F1 is better imo, no rednecks) i did think that it was nice that they payed homage to dale earnhart sr. tho.

Re: "cars"

I watched this morning directly after seeing Sasha & Digweed about a month back. Not the best state for movie watching, but nonetheless I loved this movie.

One of my favourite pixar movies. Story was great, and the Nascar theme is not very dominant which is great.

For a movie which didn't have as much publicity as some of the other animations that get released I was reaqlly taken by surprise.
