Re: ENTOURAGE Season 3!!!!

Ari will be back, don't worry. I think the writing has got a bit lackluster as the season progressed. There are so many avenues that could be exploited and the 'disappearances' of semi-key people always makes me wonder whether they've been forgotten permanently. That being said, it's still one of the most entertaining shows that I watch and I can't wait for the next season.

Things I'm going to be looking out for (and things I would do if I were the writer):

1. Drama's career blows up and he begins to 'forget' his roots or gets a holier-than-thou attitude that causes friction in the group.
2. Vince starts to get irritated by all of the free-loading taking place. How many $20,000 pairs of shoes can one guy buy before enough is enough?
3. Eric and Sloan with Seth Green back in the picture.
4. Was Bob lying about having signed the papers for the Ramons project?

The next 7 (? im not sure but i think thats what it is) of Season 3 will air in January. Similar to what they did with The Sopranos.

And Ari better not be fired. If he is, they need to do a spin-off of the Ari Show!

Just saw the last episode last night. Felt like nothing much happened at all. We already knew Ari was getting fired when the show started, and the rest of the show puttered around leading to ... Ari getting fired.

But they can't possibly be taking Ari off the show, he has some of the best lines.

Drama almost always seems to have the best one liners in that show, to me.

And they sorta fired Ari in the first and second seasons but never actually said it.

Damn this thing is like a soap...but a damn cool soap.

I was wondering why the season was so short compared to last years. and Jerry said on Carson that this 3rd season was supposed to be 20 Episodes.

Can't wait...my only problem is now I don't have HBO. I've gotta go to my fathers house to record them. As there is NO way I'm going to spend time downloading the torrent only to find out that the asshole who recorded it didn't put the credits or what's supposed to happen next week.

Little over a month to go. Aparently tonight on HBO is the repeats of the season so far to go along with the next part coming up.

the worst part is Entourage is only a half a fucking hour show... i don't know why they waited so long where the sopranos shows are an hour long, i can understand them maybe taking a little more time to create and finalize. regardless, i hope i still have my HBO when the time comes for both shows to start again.

anyway. there really isn't much of a need for Entourage to be beyond half hour. As then it would get filled with plots that take away from what they are trying to do...and that is get this kid more film jobs. I know there are a few where I really wished they would have done a special hour show.

I'm just pissed that back when they started the season, they said it was going to be 20 or 22 episodes...then they go and pull this half season break shit. If they start doing this with others shows it might not bother me...as I don't really watch regular television anymore...all the great shows have gone away.

i agree more than half hour would take away from the show... what i'm saying is, it shouldn't take them as long to create a show that is a half an hour as opposed to a full hour. hence, it shouldn't take them as long to put out for people like us to enjoy. i wonder how far in advance they have actually filmed... anyone know if they've been done for a long time and they're just keeping us waiting? if that's the case, that is kinda lame.

oh i totally agree. i think they are just fucking with us, trying to keep us waiting because they know we all wanna know what happens to ari....so they wanna make us wait to see if they can build up the viewership for the show.
