Re: Lady in the Water - new M Night Shyamalan flick

M Night Shyamalan.. I thought that guy was onto something a while back.

6th Sense was awesome.. and I really enjoyed Unbreakable.

Signs was insulting.. for many reasons. And the Village... One time I zipped my pants up too quickly and nicked some skin on my dick - fuck that hurt, I was such an idiot. However, I'd happily do that again if it meant not having to watch the Village.

So my expectations are very low for this movie.. can MNS redeem himself?

I don't care - my penis healed nicely.

Sounds like he nicked that plot off the 80's smash hit > Batteries Not Included

Lady in the Water - new M Night Shyamalan flick

Has anyone seen the trailer for this movie? I love all of m. night shyamalans movies (sixth sense, signs) so I'm really looking forward to this one. I'm just not sure if it's supposed to be thriller or a childrens movie.

Re: Lady in the Water - new M Night Shyamalan flick

I don't know if any of you saw the docudrama on Shyamalan on Sci-fi a while back, but it really added a new layed to this guy...or it took about 50 layers off this guy. Nevertheless, I doubt i would see a film about a lady in a pool who wants to save us but first we need to save her from something that is in the pool with her.....

Great plot....NOT!!!!!

Re: Lady in the Water - new M Night Shyamalan flick

I understand the figuritism and the messages in his works but fuckin' hell, the movies are complete crap. Some things are better left alone, and forgotten.

Re: Lady in the Water - new M Night Shyamalan flick

i agree! sixth sense was good as was unbreakable.

signs was a waste of time and the village - well i havent seen it due to numerous bad reports.

honestly, this looks a bit wank too!!

Re: Lady in the Water - new M Night Shyamalan flick

There are far better films around to pay for rather than the latest slice of shit from Shyamalan.

i liked all of his movies. signs was great, and village hmm yeah, if you have the wrong expectations (i.e. a horror movie) your maybe disappointed, i liked it even so. :)

Re: Lady in the Water - new M Night Shyamalan flick

^ ^ I don't know of one person that expected The Village to be a horror flick. I think people just expected it to be entertaining. :roflmao:

Re: Lady in the Water - new M Night Shyamalan flick

ok maybe not a horror flick but at least scary and creepy or something. i was entertained, but like everything thats a matter of taste :D

Re: Lady in the Water - new M Night Shyamalan flick

From what they made the trailer to be versus what shit the movie ended up being (referring to The Village) was an insult to anyone who's IQ is under 70 (its not even mentionworthy to anyone over 70).

As someone mentioned in this thread before, I am not really keen on watching a fucking wolf stalking a woman who's appeared at the bottom of a tub for old age people.

Re: Lady in the Water - new M Night Shyamalan flick

the critics reviews have been pretty harsh. highest i saw was 2.5 stars out of 4. most were much worse. too bad, the trailer had me interested...

Good thing I only heard about it.

If its for old people, it would have been better to have the wolf in the movie Cocoon
