Re: 24

Takes place three years after Season 4, and Jack Bauer is living under an assumed identity with a single mother and her daughter. I want to say more, but the 24 website is full of spoilers and so is the IMDB. Look there at your own risk.

Re: 24

It's unrealistic that J.Bauers just can't die, but I loved the first 3 seasons! Haven't seen the rest of it...

Re: 24

Huge fan of 24 and can't wait until Sunday. I heard a couple of things -- Kiefer said the episodes Sunday and Monday are kinda like a mini-series the way it works together. Also, supposedly a couple of characters die in Sunday's episode.

Re: 24

Peter Weller (as in Robocop himself, Naked Lunch and giggle Leviathan) is supposedly playing a former mentor of Bauer that got put away in a corruption investigation involving members of the CIA and CTU. It's been way too long since he's done something worthwhile again.

She's into photography, so she might actually think it was a pretty cool shot. At least that's what I tell myself. ;)

you're just pissed because 7th heaven got cancelled

Re: 24

Jack is the 2006 version of Superman... man never dies, and to me that gets annoying... pretty crazy first few episodes though... but this whole theory behind CTU and the BS that the show is about is starting to really get played out... im breaking away from being a 24 fan... too many hours, too many episodes... if they would have cut it to 16 or 12 this time i may stay for the whole season... instead ill most likely forget about it until it hits dvd and I am sick on a sunday... ha cheers :Cheerz:

Re: 24 Season 5

I think Jack Baur is going to die at the end of this season. It would suck because, well he's Jack Baur. However it would give the show credibility because just when you thought they wouldn't go that far....

Re: 24 Season 5

yeah i think hes gonna die too.

#574673Post 31 of 36

Re: 24 Season 5

I'm kind of doubtful he will die. There has been some recent talks of a 24 movie, or a series of em. If they plan go forward with the movie plan they'll have to keep him alive. Unless they have his daughter take over.... Yum!

Re: 24 Season 5

how do you make a 24 the movie? jsut have the crisis last 2 hours? isnt the whole point that its in (and i use this phrase lightly) "real time"

Re: 24 Season 5
yeah i think hes gonna die too.
that doesn't mean he's going to be dead :)

he died in the last hour of Day Four.. but then a few minutes later he had been resurrected.

I think Jack Bauer is the new James Bond. >> J.B. they have the same monogram, it's not an accident..

fighting not the soviet spies, but the terrorists. he's like James Bond in a new world, after the cold war, and after 9/11.

Hey don't kill the messenger! Keifer actually thinks there is too much filler in the show and thats the reason he mentioned for doing a movie. Aside from that can you imagine how much more profitable a movie would be when compared to the tv show?

he also died in one of the other seasons (heart stopped after torture) and he came back alive. i think it as the 2nd season

Re: 24 Season 5

A movie would give them a bigger budget to do better special effects and stunts. But, they wouldn't have enough time to have the plot twists and story that they can tell over an entire season.

A complaint about this season is that the story is similar to other seasons. High level government officials "allow" WMDs to be stolen by terrorists. Jack is back on provisional basis to help CTU find the WMDs.

And finally, will we find out what these Russian separatists want to separate from? I didn't realize that there were terrorist Russian separatists out there. From the current news, the only terrorists I hear about are Islamic terrorists. Maybe we'll hear more information later.
