Interesting. Although I would like to see some original shit. It seems like no one is able to come out with anything new. All the movies now are based off of old tv shows and comiic books. There is a reason that they were tv shows to begin with . . . they weren't good enough to be a movie in the first place.

I'm hoping for the best on this. The reports that the budget went beyond $200 million dollars (a budget that is pretty much unheard of for an action film), the problems btwn Colin Ferrell and Michael Mann and the other problems that plagued the set, doesn't bode well for me. They're marketing it like another Heat (which was Michael Mann's most successful film, I think), and I hope it has a similar punch. Guess we'll find out in Feb.

Colin ferell was a pretty shitty choice as well

looking at the trailer, what a crappy job on casting. No one will match Edward James Olmos as the lieutenant
