I saw this on Netfilx over the weekend.

Overall it was pretty good as long as you don't take it too seriously. Pitt and Jolie are beautiful too look at, have excellent chemistry (obviously :p ) and the acting is good enough. The whole thing is done tounge-in-cheek and that makes for some good humor as the two quip about their marriage as the plot about opposing spies plays out. There is pleanty of good action, and they do a pretty good job of keeping it from getting to that saturation point where you can no longer bear to hear another gun shot or explosion.

The plot does IMO take one too many turns and it gets a bit drawn out in the end, therefore I am deducting a half point and will give it 3.5/5, as good mindless entertainment.

i'd rather take a shit in a bucket and sautee it with some onions and worstechier sauce then eat it over a candle light dinner with a nice red wine. only to shit the shit back out again the next day and microwave it and eat it. only to puke the shitted shit back up on some toast and eat it again with some ginger ale. then i'd like to shit out the shitted barfed shit again onto my girlfriends neck and roll around in it for a few minutes only to scoop it all back up and eat it again. only to shit out the shitted barfed swallowed shit again the next day and sprinkle some powdered sugar on it to eat it again chasing it with a 750ml bottle of jack daniels. repeat. repeat.

:lol: i agree. brad and angelina spend more time making sure they look good than acting in this one. toward the end they both are getting seriously injured and from scene to scene the pain is there and gone. i though we stopped falling for that BS since all those bad action movies in the 80's.

Frankly I think you guys are taking this movie too seriously, in which case I agree with your reviews. I went in expecting superficial escapism, that's what I got, and I enjoyed it. Relax, shut your brain off, go for a ride.

It's okay, you can enjoy a crappy movie from time to time, I won't think less of you. ;)

the chemistry between Pitt and Jolie makes this movie, and it definitely does for 100%. and i think this sort of film isn’t supposed to be analysed. its just fun, maybe dumb fun, but still its fun. 8)
