What an incredibly well directed movie, not having seen Ringu and Ringu 2, I didnt realize that Ringu 0 is actually the third part made as a prequel to Ringu. Movie was unnerving (wont say scary cause it wasn't jumpy like the most horrors). Also the best part of the movie was its originality in the "spooky" department. No gore, no blood, decapitations and headless ghosts. Original clean frightening horror. The director did an unbelievably good job with the direction.

For those not aware of Ringu, it's the original Japanese movie that inspired the "Ring". Excellent acting, excellent casting, phenomenally well laid out, lighting was immaculate (you'll get it when you see it, nearly the entire movie is made in a shadowy theater). The only gripe I have about the movie is it seems the "dubbing" wasn't as accurate as the original words would be because a lot of the movie is lost in translation i.e. leaves a lot to imagine why a few things were happening.

But overall, a GREAT frickin movie to rent and watch. Am gonna get Ringu and Ringu 2 within this week as well.
