Just saw this film last night and boy am I glad I did. Much to my surprise the showing we went to was sold out; surprising because we attended a Monday, 7:10pm show. Ever since I had seen the trailer I knew that I wanted to see it; I'll admit with a bit of skepticism since it was produced by MTV Films. This little, low-budget film has a lot of heart and I would definitely recommend it to everyone. I can't think of one dull performance throughout the film.

Re:: 'Napoleon Dynamite'

This was one of the funniest films I've seen in ages. It's like a world inhabited by the nerds from The Far Side comic strip.

"How many times do I have to tell you?!?! I was hunting badgers with my uncle last summer! Idiot!!!"

i really enjoyed it but it's not that great a movie. pretty funny but it has some rough spots. most of them are toward the beginning.

#227044Post 13 of 65

Re:: 'Napoleon Dynamite'

I saw this last week and thought it was only ok. Very quirky and subtle comedy, not really what I'm into. The whole movie is just like a case study of this character Napoleon Dynamite, and it plays out as if it were an episode on a TV show. There's a bunch of teehee funny moments but they never really amount to a whole lot.

This movie was mad funny. It was a little rough around the edges, but that shit was hilarious. The intro was very clever too.

Saw it a while back and absolutely loved it. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD. I even dressed up as Nappy D for Halloween. Unfortunately most people have not seen the movie and did not get my ridiculous costume.

Just watched this tonight, and I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. I've wanted to see it for a while, and after finally seeing it I'd say it definitely lived up to all the hype. Don't think many movies out there actually do, for me

"I caught you a delicious bass" :CrackUp:

#331383Post 28 of 65

I just saw this movie recently on home video. So many little subtle things that make the movie funny. I really enjoyed how u couldnt tell what time period the movie was set in, guessing the late 80s. IT was a hilarious movie with a truly happy ending.

#331462Post 29 of 65

So funny... a bit like Zoolander - it's about 100 times funnier on second watching.

"Do the chickens have huge talons?"

"You know.... knumchuk skills, computer hacking skills, bow hunting skills...."

F*ckin hilarious. Unnnnnngh! Lucky!

kip might just be the best character i have seen in a movie. god damn, i just watched this again for the umpteeenth time and i find more to laugh at with every viewing.

Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

Why do you love me? Why do you need me? Always and forever... We met in a chatroom, now our love can fully bloom... Sure the world wide web is great, but you, you make my salivate... I love technology, but not as much as you, you see... But I STILL love technology... Always and forever. Our love is like a flock of doves, flying up to heaven above... always and forever, always and forever... Why do you need me? Why do you love me? Always and forever...
