This is playing on HBO right now... I've never heard of it, but so far I'm loving it. A Steven Spielberg movie, Tom Hanks plays an immigrant that gets stuck living in JFK airport for a while. He makes friends with all the airport employees to get what he wants and constantly flirts with a flight attendent (played by Zeta Jones) when she's in the airport.

Awesome, funny, feel-good movie. I recommend a rent. :RightOn:

The Terminal is a good movie. With humourous antics, and plenty of comic relief jokes, this movie is worth seeing for sure! So go and rent it! 8) :D

I went to see another film, and for some reason it was delayed for 45 min and this was what was playing in the same theater. After spending up my limited supply of quarters and Tekken skills in the lobby, I decided to just go in and sit out the rest of the movie till the next one started.

I guess maybe you need to see The Terminal from the beginning? It was the most pointless and painfully steaming pile of crap I have ever suffered through. The syrupy heavy hand of Spielbergs over-sentimental bullshit was as torturous as Hanks bad accent.

Granted I didn't give this movie a fair shake, but from what I saw, I will never attempt to watch it from the beginning.

I think this movie was sort of based on a real life person who did do this at an airport, I think he was Iranian or something. But I agree with Tom Hanks accent pretty painful :)
