So what do you think about this. I am not sure he is going to make much money on this one. The write-up says it has some of the grit the first two had so I guess I might catch it when it comes out on DVD.

I have to admit I dig the first one and the one where he fights the Russian. There are so many I do not remember the numbers of them.

he probably was inspired by the reality show that he did recently, The Contender, to do another rocky flick.

I'm VERY sceptical, it will take unanamously great reviews to get me to go see it. I love the old ones though, 1-4. I must brrreak you.

another? damn, i have to admit that this movie that i know it have the more sequels that i must remember....or is another movie that beat this?....

Stallone is the ultimate Hollywood sellout, and that's not an attack on him.

Think of it this way - he started out and made a name for himself and got his critical respect with films like Rocky (for which he got multiple Oscar nods), First Blood, Nighthawks, Lords of Flatbush, F.I.S.T. and others. Then the sequels rolled in and offered him the money, and from what it seems, he just stopped caring, and simply went on to make the films he thought would make some money in the theatres.

It's not like he's hurting for money - Stallone is a respected artist, whose paintings sell in the mid six figure range (and he's quite good - that painting you see at the end of Rocky 3 was his own work).

What's he doing? Don't know, probably cashing in, as he seems to do films more on a whim than anything else these days, and probably since he's now 59, probably getting a decent retirement egg together with this and Rambo 4 in the works.

I can see him doing Rambo but another Rocky I don't think I'd see it.

i would like to see John Rambo getting killed in the next one .... seeing a 60 year old running around in the jungle like a 30 year old with millions of bullets raining on him and not one hitting is just too much for me

What the hell has this world come to. This is just not plausible. A 60 year old guy does not equal boxing. However, Rocky is the shiznet and I will go and pay to see it.

Potential to be the worst film of all time IMO (and you can apply that to rambo 4 or rocky 6)
