I can't wait to check this movie out, but I like most comic movies!!!
this movie should be classified as a remake of the original, not a comic movie. but all recent comics made me sick, like sin city, fantastic 4, what else...

They want to bring a gritty real world feel to a man who stops trains, is faster than a speeding bullet, can leap over buildings, flies, shaves himself with heat vision, and wears red briefs on the outside.

Rather, I think it's a continuation of the original ... but still a comic movie since Superman is adapted from the comics.

Re: Superman Returns

I can't wait to see this movie. The guy they picked to do Superman looks really close to the original. I predict it will do really well at the box office

they should have tried to be original in this one. It does look too much like the 1st movie. I hope it still comes out good

I am more looking forward to seeing Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Re: Superman Returns

i saw a sneak preview this past wednesday night..

it was OK. Brandon Routh does an awesome impersonation of Christopher Reeve's Superman.

It was too light on action for my tastes.

I wanted a more original story.. not one that's been told before in other Superman movies. This takes place after Superman 2 by the way.

Some interesting twists on the orignal story, though Bryan Singer does a great job sticking with the original Superman theme.

Again, not an AMAZING movie, but check it out anyway if you liked the first two.

Re: Superman Returns

I just saw the movie last weekend. It was good but here is one thing that I would change to make the movie better:

 • LOVE STORY...I think they had too many love scenes and not enough action. Other than that Singer did a great job of bringing back Superman....can't wait for the second one

Re: Superman Returns
- LOVE STORY...I think they had too many love scenes and not enough action.
They had to do that in order to give Kate's foooorehead enough "exposure".

Re: Superman Returns

knowone can bet the original superman. Nice try hollywood.

Re: Superman Returns

i thought it was decent .. picking up from where the original superman 2 left off .. if things are what reports are said to be ... we can be sure that the next 2 superman would be something to look forward to as long its still done by bryan singer

on a side note .. now we know where did cyclops disappear to in x-men3 ... he was busy with the superman movie

Re: Superman Returns

I saw this one last Sunday in a cinema...what a boring movie. How the director thought this movie needs to be over 150 minutes long is beyond my understanding. :what Too mainstream for me, effects were awesome and I really like to see Kevin Spacey acting but the movie lost the plot during the numerous useless and too long dialogues for me.

^^ I decided to wait until the DVD. You just confirmed I made the right decision.
