is there no thread for this? i looked 3 pages back. :?

anyway, went to see this last night and i thought it was very entertaining. Depp is such a good actor he can pull off any role. he was quite the demented character in this flick. i loved how he kept saying to the one video game kid: "i cant understand your mumbling, please stop" lmfao at that!!

i wish i had seen it in a regular theater, than a beer cinema, cos i dont quite remember the whole movie. :Alchy

i'm obviously not the best film critic, so if anyone would care to elaborate....

I loved the scene when they are going into the factory and the puppets start on fire and melt hahaha, then the addition of the puppet burn center later on! hilarious

this one is a skipper for me, I love the original and I'm sticking with it, plus I'm not a fan of Tim Burton

Re: Charley and the Chocolate Factory

saw the new one and was pleasantly surprised, but then again i was expecting a bad remake.
i prefer the old one. the scene with the hsawaknow (wonkawash spelled backwards) is great. amazing sounds coming out of that crazy thing.

Re: Charley and the Chocolate Factory

haha one thing I don't like about Tim Burton is that he always puts his fucking wife in every thing. Helena Bonham Carter-Burton aka the hawt ape from Planet of the Apes hahaha she will always be that character to me:lol:

DAMN FILTHY APES

Re: Charley and the Chocolate Factory

she'll always be the dirty little ho in Fight Club for me.

saw this movie a month ago and thought it was good. have seen the original play on movie channels since then too... though I do think the original is better, I think the new one is definitely worth a watch. you should check it Kobe
