There are lots of new and also interesting serial, may be the best of them are Lost, The 4400, Threshold. Lost is a little bit like a soap opera, but it's still interesting for me :)

Saved By the Bell (the original with Zack Morris and AC Slater) Beverly Hills 90210 (i rarely missed an episode) Melrose Place
More recently:
Seinfeld Sex in the City CSI and CSI Miami Law & Order Lost
