he could. how would he ever remember killing John G. he wasnt taking any pictures when he killed him. :NotMe:
Re: Memento
I reckon he goes on killing alright, trying to erase the memory of his wife committing suicide, and replace it with one of her being killed by the mysterious John G
Great flick tho

I think he was trying to break the cycle that he was already stuck in with Teddy. Though it's very likely that he would go on with his seeking revenge, since, as Teddy said that killing the person never brought back his memory and didn't give him a purpose in life. Lenny needed purpose in his life or he would become like the guy who he had tattooed on his hand.
Re: Memento
I don't think he was trying to break the cycle, as he was unaware of it most of the time..... He made a conscious decision to burn the photo, also to write the note on the back of one to kill John G, who he knew wasn't responsible.
Off now to watch it again I think!!!
Re: Memento
I think the killing stops for Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce's character).
Unless he can get rid of all those "FACT" tattoos he has already gathered about the killer, I don't think another person would fit the profile of all those facts, only Teddy Gammell did. The facts cornered Teddy and thus Leonard kills him (Teddy is male, a John G, drives with that license number register to his real name John Edward Gammell and etc).
However, this doesn't mean the searching for his wife's killer will stop, because he won't remember to get a tattoo on him that says he has finally killed his "wife's killer" (Teddy).

I saw it 3 times. I think that you gota see it the first time... and you?re kinda amazed at the end... then you gotta see it a second time to actually understand it and catch things that you missed the first time, cause you do miss stuff, since you don?t really "understand" the situation completly.
