I started binge watching this morning. Liking it so far. The first episode is a bit slow but it picks up after that.

Re: Jessica Jones [Netflix]
I'm liking the first episode - they do a good job of setting up Jessica Jones as a character. They keep the Marvel touch in the show, despite it being unlike anything else they've put out in the way of film of television, giving it a much more distinctive look and feel.
They don't shy away from characters being gay (making it more matter of fact, rather than making it the defining trait of the characters in question) and take a very strong, feminist approach to the characters.
Re:
The series almost has a 'Mr. Robot' feel to it also. That sort of loner perspective from a protagonist view. Now, I'm curious in relation to how many others are out there with the abilities.

Nice article. Major spoilers in it though so beware.
Re: Jessica Jones [Netflix]
Way darker than I expected even after Daredevil, they're really pushing it for a Marvel property. Can't wait for this to crossover with Daredevil. The action and more realistic tones in Captain America, the fun in Guardians, the epic in Avengers, the seedy underbelly on Netflix, really loving what Marvel is doing, light years ahead of DC.
