really? they should have taken a page out of The Star Wars trailer. that got me much more amped after watching it than this did.

I don't remember if this is a sequel or prequel but I was thinking this technology has not progressed at all if it's a sequel. There's nothing in it that makes it feel like a Terminator film made in 2014/15 and I wondered if that was the intent, to reassure fans this is going back to the 'roots' of the franchise.

They are bringing back the T1000 from T2 which was by far the best of the movies, so yes it looks good. Plus Arnold is back.
Im not as excited as the post below, but it looks like next one will be better than the previous two.

It looks like they're trying to do a timeline correction thing with this - sort of like with X-Men's Days of Future Past, and to a lesser degree the Star Trek reboot.
If that means making Terminator 3 obsolete and basically saying it never happened (like they did with X-Men: The Last Stand), I'm all for it.
