Not really, Left Behind was originally a very cheesy, low budget Biblical bit of propaganda that starred Kirk Cameron (from tv's Growing Pains) and Louis Gossett Jr. from the 90's. Hilarious Fire and Brimstone stuff.

I'm really looking forward to the lunacy that Cage will bring to the remake - I get the feeling that it will eclipse some of his more loopier fare.

I am loving this show, its dark and moody and depressing with a twist in every episode. Good TV

chapters 8 and 9 were superb.
