Yeah, this is a very uneven, very scatterbrained season - the shoot out was a really bad idea and felt like they were trying to top that 6 minute unbroken take from season 1.
It doesn't help that they're using multiple directors that really wrecks the tone of the show. It's really too bad too - there's flashes of some great ideas, scenes, characters and performances, but it really feels like they're making this up as they're going along.
I really hope they get their shit together if there's a season 3, because they wasted a lot of talent and goodwill generated from the first season.
