Yeah I really enjoyed this too, Hanks was incredible. The "pirates" were convincing as well.

This was a great movie. Tom Hanks was amazing. The entire last hour and especially the end scene were great...very intense.

Even my 21 month old was captivated by Tom in that scene. It was amazing to watch his reaction (my sons), he was glued to the screen at home during that. I also had something in my eye I think, a piece of dust or something, because my eyes started watering.

I haven't seen it, but I might someday... not really into these types of movies. I like true stories alot though. Hanks was phenomenal in Cast Away & Philadelphia, and I hear the Mr Banks movie is quite good, surprisingly. Whatever the secret ingredient is for a brilliant actor, Hanks has definitely got it! Any other Tom Hanks movies you liked alot?

Tom Hanks man... I just don't know how he does it... just watching the trailer gets me... got find some time to watch this one!

watched this in the theaters a few months back... excellent movie.. wouldnt mind watching again actually (and that says a lot)
