It's a very ambitious film that's less as a sum of it's parts than the individual pieces. I liked the themes of freedom, reincarnation and fate, but the constant shifting between storylines and trying to figure out which character is whom in the next life becomes complicated and muddled.
I liked the idea of it, and I liked that it was trying something different, and if you pay very close attention, you'll see the interweaving threads that tie each of the stories to one another.

I'm ok with complicated plots, I just can't believe how quick this made it out on Disc. Like barely a month since release in theaters?

It came out in October in North America, had an okay opening weekend and that's about it. It's more of a critical darling of a movie than something that audiences really related to.
That's not really all that surprising that it's making it to DVD so quickly - the turn around times are becoming pretty tight. Dredd 3D is out first week of January, and that was out in September.

Watched it again just now.. I brought me to tears this time around. For some reason it didn't have such a profound effect on me when I went to the movie theater, I guess a home setting works better in this case. Great film.

Damn. Absolutely blown away. Great performances from the actors but especially Hanks and Weaving. The Wachowski siblings did something amazing with this, can't imagine how they edited and put it together; and the pace was surprisingly alright. Whole film feels like a symphony.
