I wonder if these effects people have the equivalent of clip art, these textures all look like Transformers.

Caught it, 2hrs of mindless mayhem and fun. I didn't expect anything to make sense but why do star-spanning intergalactic spaceships flounder around on Earth's ocean like seals?!?!?!?!

Just as feather said, mindless fun. Give it a [B]4/10[/B] for storyline and [B]8/10[/B] for visual effects. The movie starts out slow, boring, seeming to lose direction, until the Sea Trials begin some 30 minutes later. After that, it's hold onto our horse non-stop action. The porcupine goatee, really really really got to me. The least bit creativity in coming up with an alien that looks like he was designed for a video game.

Yet, totally worthy of a watch.
