i'm surprised nobody has created a thread on this yet...

saw it last night... what a wonderfully dark movie. from the get-go it was a very serious, very chilling and a very intense movie. also very emotional. i can't imagine going through something like what these people went through in the movie. seeing that wolves are very territiorial in real life, the movie did a really good job of being creative with their behaviors. and of course liam was his usual cool/calm/collected self. if you like liam neeson movies, you'll no doubt like this one.

Re: The Grey

I saw this one last night, it was one of 2 back-2-back survivalist type movies and so the over-deliverance of "i'm gonna make it no matter what" scenes and expressions may have subdued my experience of watching this one (since it was the second movie) but it didn't do much for me honestly. Neeson is a good actor, but there's only certain roles he can pull off and being a veteran wolf hunter, imo, he didn't pull off. Maybe if he grew a 4 foot beard to depict an isolated lifestyle in the woods would have done it. Worth a watch if there isn't anything else playing.

Re: The Grey

So was I - after Taken you sort of expect all his movies to be top notch.
