Man I want to see this movie sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad and its not out in Austria yet in fact I don't even know when its going to come out! I'm just keeping my fingers cross that its soon really really really soon!

This movie is wicked. Love the gritty way its shot, with the yellow blood and stuff.

I couldnt resist a chance to see Jesica Alba just lookin hot :D and Benicio Del Toro is one of my fav actors.

I love the scene in this movie when Mickey Rouke is fighting the really fuckedup kid, and he moves his feet really fast just like they used to do in the comic hero type cartoons. Just brilliant. :D

Bought it on DVD and saw it for the first time yesterday. Interesting movie to say the least and not like anything I've seen before. Definately worth a watch if you haven't seen it yet.

Awesome comic books, awesome movie! However, if you are planning on purchasing the DVD out now, I suggest you wait and buy the Special Edition that will come out later (it will include tons of goodies, as opposed to this one out now which has almost no extras).

Thanks for the tip, cuz I was all set to rush out and buy it. Special Editions are always better. Maybe that's why they're "special." :D

Loved this movie. Can someone tell me who the girl in the beginning was and why was she killed??? I assume the Old City girls hire the assasin to kill anyone who crosses them, like the girl at he end of the movie.

Think it was just there as an intro so that the film is summed up at the end with the girl going in the lift, cos its the same guy at the beginning thats in the lift. Ties the story up in a way. I think its just showing that the city is full of guns for hire as well and sets the tone for whats to come.

Great movie. I got it ages ago and think it's one of the best movies thats been converted from a comic strip!

I loved it as well. I was the only one laughing in the movie theatre. My wife hit me a bunch of times. I still love it. She will not stop me.

innovative and dazzling in its absolute loyalty to the visual style of its inspiration...brings comic book pages alive to a degree that is unprecedented in movie history. i love it!

The Special Edition will be released in North America in December. It features a extended director's cut, deleted scenes and a host of other features.

Love this film, wicked actors like bernice del toro and the gorgeous jessica alba and they way its shot is so fresh you can allmost smell that ugly yellow tosser.

I nearly wet my self when that ninja kid did that little comic book quick steep. very funny touch.:D

pretty vioent, but not a bad movie like the way it was made comic like. Black & white with colors at places etc...got lots of actors in it also, like the way they told the story also.

Another where-the-hell-have-I-been. I saw this about a month ago and was very pleasently surprised. Very cool, very stylish film that keeps you guessing and doesn't drag at all. Great actors, sexy women, tons of fun violence. 4.5/5

The re-editing of the entire film and the extra 20 minutes that they put back in made this feel different. Not necessarily better, but different.
