No one would have believed, in the last years of the nineteenth century, that human affairs were being watched from the timeless worlds of space.

No one could have dreamed we were being scrutinized, as someone with a microscope studies creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. Few men even considered the possibility of life on other planets and yet, across the gulf of space, minds immeasurably superior to ours regarded this Earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely, they drew their plans against us.
Dun dun derrrrrrr I first heard it when was a kid and that shit still sends shivers down my spine :Bingo:

Have someone hear the "Musical" version by Jeff Wayne ? The music is total 70s. Great singers like Chris Thompson. And the words are spoken by Richard Burton. My father had this album & he played it again & again. Nice youth memories.

Know nothing of the musical or the tune to which you refer, but the book and movie were great.

That quote fucking rules.

I?me gonna put it through this kind of Speak&Spell thingy they have at AT&T?s site. It should be cool to have a robotic, computerized voice saying that stuff on a tune.

That is an awesome set, still listen to it sometimes, P&W never disappoint.

If anyone likes Hybrid they did a mix of the Jeff Wayne track, overdid the distortion a little on the vocal but it is still a killer track.
