Really? I thought Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law were great. When I saw the second trailer I thought this would hopefully be a better franchise than Pirates.

Downey's great. Always been a fan of his antics, but it was the plot, and just the general pace the film had. It seemed a certain too hollywood-ised for my liking.

I never thought it would be a franchise. Well I guess most films are these days...

It was no where near as good as the first one (and I haven't even been half through it yet). At least part 1 left a whole lot of mystery into the identity of the villain but from the look of it, it appears they have let the villain out of the shadows 10 minutes into it? I imagine the only thing left is to disclose why. But I'm gonna go through the rest of it today to find out whats up.

i enjoyed it as much as the 1st 1 damn good films when i watched the 1st it reminded me of when i used 2 watch sherlock holmes when it was on tv in the mornings on holiday times when i was younger.

Saw it, enjoyable albeit slightly long. I thought they could've ended the movie with Holmes and Moriarty falling over the waterfall instead of revealing Holme's survival at the end.
