Was released on vinyl & CD way back in 2001, somewhat popular track in the psytrance scene. I guess it's an "unknown classics" set for him, eh? :wink:

A lot of the tracks he played reminded me of something a GOA or psytrance DJ would play.

No kidding - reminds me of what I'd expect to hear from somebody like Seb Kr?ger. Much of disc 2 is more or less light psytrance like was coming out on a bunch of German, UK & Scandanavian labels in 2001-2003. Listen to the basslines & effects in the tracks. Bill & Seb in the track I mentioned above are aliases for Cosmosis (Bill Halsey) & Shakta (Seb Taylor), both very well known psytrance artists. If it's Digweed (suspicious, but not counting it out), then he must have eaten some acid before hitting the decks that night. :wink:

Well hot damn, I'd love to get my hands on this. I think a few of you sketpics need to realize Diggers never sticks to one style. Depending on the time, crowd, venue, etc, the guy just plays electronic music that sounds damn good. Like, he went from renaissance style trance way-back-when and now he's hammering shit from Kompakt.

This mix isn't Diggers @ Fabric from February, FYI.

If you can get the mix from Budapest Events Hall (4-27-05 I think), now that's really him. Just listen to both and compare the two and you'll hear it instantly, the "Fabric" mix is just a wannabe imitation, but so far from what he plays this year....btw I was at Fabric that day and he did play many of the tracks he dropped in the Budapest mix...you can also take the Pawn Shop mixes from the past two weeks and hear the difference...;)

So I thought I would pull ou this gem of a set and listen to it again. Damn is this shit nasty or what. What a fanastic set. Digweed definetly at his best. By far one of my favorite sets of 05.
