Hi all, delighted to have stumbled upon this site as im a big Digweed fan and after reading and browsing the site it has become clear to me that digweeds performance on the Bedrock 10.5 set was pretty special but unfortunately i cant find it anywhere :(

Would be very grateful.

Thanks, funky. 10.5 is superb indeed. Its my current running set. In training for half-marathon and find digweeds dark (semi-angry) heavy bass live sets perfect for keeping me going. Can you suggest anything similar in its quality (digweed live set wise).

cheers

BTW, the 10.5 set i got is 2 hours long. Is that the only one doing the rounds?

This thread should give you the info you need:

I'm proud to say I was there on the night, witnessed Hour 4 from right above the DJ booth with Simonr as Diggers went into destroy mode, a great night....

If you're looking for something similar, I'd go for the Vagabond set which was aired on Transitions in July 2009.....it's a bit dreamier and a lighter sound to 10.5 but it's a good contrast....for something quite evil, check out the Zouk set aired in March 2009.....you can access the whole Transitions archive if you keep making (meaningful :)) posts.....in fact, there have been a lot of live sets lately (Pacha, Leeds, Budapest, Lush) but 10.5 and Vagabond stand out the most, absolute quality......have fun discovering Diggers

love your avatar, one of my top 10 movies.

if u want dark and evil digweed, try his Fabric set that was aired on his Kiss FM show in December 2000 and January 2001. its 3 parts long and about as evil as u can get really.

Re: Request: Bedrock 10.5

I started this thread as a tribute to Fabric 2000, one of my favourite sets of all time, and then a big-up to Adzey for joining the parts together.....Digweed always brings something special when he plays at Fabric, the 2001 and 2007 mixes a testament to that, as well as December 2009 which I had the honour of witnessing live 8)
