having finally got all parts of this, i can say it is a good set.

But it doesnt sound like diggers (dont know whether it is suggestion or what) but the levels dont sound like what diggers normally uses and there is something that doesnt give me that digweed feel.

of course its all open to discussion as we know its fake.

but hats off to whoever did it. And fair play on getting the all tunes!

Great set! I think it's Digweed :) And the only reason is that the g-platz wasn't released when the mix was made. If it's somebody else, where did he get that track? There were a lot of chinese people at the party, they can tell us the truth. I didn't find videos to compare.

I'm not sure on this mix as being authentic Digweed just yet. Some of the mix volumes and drop outs ( the overlays sound choppy) seem uncharacteristic for someone of JD's skill.

Considering what he has been serving up and the latest Transitions, something seems odd about this mix. Maybe I'm just listening in too hard.

That said, it's a top track list.

It's clearly done on Ableton so that makes it hard to believe it's Digweed.

The unreleased tracks like Yohkoh are an eyebrow riser though.

I'm convinced this IS Digweed.

Incredible mixing- whether using Ableton or not (yes he does use Ableton in live gigs)

While there's not a bad track in the whole of this set it leaves me feeling tense and empty...

He builds and builds and builds the tension and you never really get the release.

It's like a S L O W 3 hour wa*k with no climax.

Technically brilliant, superb tracks but as a set it's not balanced enough for me at least. I'm not saying there should be cheesy vocals and italian piano breaks...just something that makes me smile now and then...

Just my opinion...I've always felt the same way about Diggers.

Sasha seems to be heading the same way of late....

SIGH WTF's happening here....

Isn't this music supposed to be about DYNAMICS? Up and DOWN, Light and Dark....

I like it but it makes me tense.....

Surley if he was using Ableton you would be able to see it in the video on the previous page no. I like the way even Digweed himself says its not him, and still people aren't convinced.

So... I downloaded and gave a critical listen and frankly was surprised at how Digweed-esq it was.

Not sure if this has been considered or not but there is the possibility it IS Digweed - just not recorded on that night. Surely whomever recorded it did not want to be caught so why not leak the file with the wrong date and place to throw everyone off (incl Diggers himself)? Either someone has some extremely rare tracks of Digweed's and can mix quite like him, or...

It might not be plausible but certainly is possible.

am loving this set whether its diggers or not to be honest. hours 2 and 3 are awesome. loving kevlar - mobgoose as well as the tracks around the 25min mark and then 32 on the 3rd hour. loving most of the stuff on it in fact :) if it aint john than props to the person who made it. awesome stuff. relentless. :D my two pennies on whether it is or not. i dont think it is for some reason. cant pt my finger on it. but doesnt give me that feel of a digweed set for some reason... but still wondering how the person who made it got some of the tracks?!?!

if anyone still wants it I upped the three hours for a friend the other day. can post the links here or pm me. :) if anyone has a cue sheet for it that would be cool. :)

I think we should have a separate sub forum for fake Digweed sets. They seam to generate more interest than genuine Digweed sets.

I have to say even though Digweed did not play this mix... The unknown dj that put this set together did a great job! It's too bad whom ever he is didn't want the world to know his name, he might have attracted some fans.
