I got this from my old friend Scott who posted it on oldskoolanthems. This is a copy of the mixtape that was given to Geof Oakes by Dom Philips (or who ever the editor of Mixmag was) John Digweed did that got john his job at renaissance. This is the one mentioned in the sleeve notes in the 2004 reissue of The Mix Collection by Sasha and John

There is one other mix that i find hard to get which is John Digweed Essential mix 1994/03/05 . Does anyone know if this exists . Thanks very much gatz and chunky for the offer . I got you on that other post now and im downloading it as we speak. That was the first tape or time i had heard of him and i downloaded it live on my old c deck (live) . All me mates had went out clubbin and i had to stay at home as i was sick. Things happen for a reason huh ! I left that tape round a mates and she recorded over half the tape on it just to get swamp thing by the grid on it so i never heard the whole thing. Muchos appreciatos amigos ( yeah im a brit !) soz :) Im so happy :)!!!
