beachball (g&d mixes) were defo early 2003. caught sasha in atlanta @ blu the day before he headed to miami for wmc that year and he was definitely playing some of those tracks. great 6 hour set that was!

Just my opinion but I don't think this is a s&d set. There is way to many commerical tracks in this mix to a be club mix. Maybe a festival mix but still the mixing on some of the tracks just sounds really horrible.

Really don't recall S&D being in Vegas in 2003 Last place they played was C2K (June 2000) and I am pretty sure it had been closed down by 2003. They haven't played in Vegas since as duo that I am aware of at the moment. Unless it was some private show during MAGIC (clothing convention) Did see Digweed play a set for Spundae during that time @ RA, maybe this might be that set.

judging by the tracks sound s&d those were the track they were playing in that time but as regards the mixing on the tracks doesnt sound they at all so dont think its a s&d set either.

I disagree. Many of the mixing issues yall have seem to be the transition Sasha was going through with electronic mixing. Also, I believe that the set was a promo disk given away in Las Vegas, but maybe not made there!8)

Not really, I heard Digweed play this track at Hyperia in Houston, TX in 2000. It was kinda cool actually, he stopped whatever record he was playing at the moment (everybody thought something was wrong with the equipment) then surprised us all and dropped this track. First time I'd heard the track before, the place went ape shit. The breakdown sounds like soundeffects from a Saturday morning cartoon.

When I saw them at C2K in 2000 this was roughly the last hour and a half of a five hour set. Use to work there doing video so there was definitely a recording would have to ask former boss if he still has the tapes. So it is possible this is from that night, personally I was pretty cracked out that night and the first 3 or 4 hrs were so deep that everyone was in outer space by the time they ramped it up at the end. They played from 1am to roughly 6:30am.
