Re: John Digweed Exposed MixTape 1999

Yeah, great spot on track 5. Heard Sasha drop it at Gatecrasher a few weeks later too. Fifteen years late to the party mind....

I reckon track 6 sounds like Sharam Jey/Billy Hendrix

Re: John Digweed Exposed MixTape 1999

Production does sound a little like Billy Hendrix. I cant see past it being Dutch though.

Ian Pooley? Dont think so mate, theres no way thats Fly shuffle. Also I dont think Aether is right either.

Fly shuffle was two years later too.

I think it's got to be him. It just sounds digweed as fuck in those first 40 minutes.

Yeh I went this night. Was a good gig even without the bald one. Managed to crack off with a medical student who took me back to her room then proceeded to go to sleep almost immediately after having a joint. Shook her a couple of times and left after an hour of waiting. Was a school boy error on my part, was a proper waste.

I don't know if it is true, but they used to say Keele had the highest suicide rate in the country, are you sure that she didn't off herself? I went to Keele Uni once myself, it may have been me that was responsible for the suicde rate.

Haha she might have, maybe I did miss a chance after all.

No that's definitely true it does. My Mrs' mum and sister both work there and it's a pretty well known fact. I think it's more than likely it's because of its close proximity to Stoke though. I mean you've basically fucking failed in life being anywhere near there so it's fully understandable. My old fella has donated his body to the medical department there when he expires. I've told him you'll have to spend eternity as good as in Stoke you know, do you really want that burden?

Classified Project should be track 13 and the missing ID for track 12 is Memnon - Rescue [Musicnow Records]

Track 6 is Three 'N' One - Soul Freak. Not sure what mix though. Anyone know if the Sharam mix is different to the original? There's a Short mix as well.

Re: John Digweed Exposed MixTape 1999

Wow! Jesus Saves!

I can't believe that track has been ID'd after all these years - you sir are a legend.

Interestingly, I can't see a reference to any remixes of this track on discogs. Its just the original and then the short mix, neither of which were played in this mix. I wonder if Digweed had a rare unreleased version?

I said at the top of the page, 8 years ago, that I thought it sounded like a Sharam Jey track :|
